Salam everyone, i m back from Saudi Arabia ......... i was supposed to come back on 14 August but due to the delay in flight i came back on 15 August, i know i know i should have informed you guys earlier, but i got a lil lazy ;] My trip to Saudi Arabia was a really remarkable, unforgettable and spiritual experience. I thought i'll be putting up details about my journey but there i didn't had time to write one :/ Don't worry i'll be telling you a brief:-
Makkah Mukarama:-
At first we were having trouble in getting visa, but thanks to Allah we got it and due to the delay trip we were blessed with 2 to 3 fasts in makkah yeah!! It was a 15 day trip, we first spend 5 days in Makka then 5 days in Madina and then again 5 days in Makka our schedule enabled us to perform 2 umras. I performed my 'Tawaf' there and also prayed in the 'Hatheem', and i also got to kiss the 'Hajar-e-Aswad' (yeeeaahh). I went to Saudia in 2002 but i did get to go even near the 'Hajar-e-Aswad' because there is always a crowd there. Over there our routine was to pray, eat and to do a lil bit of shopping ;) In Makkah Mukarama we also visited many other holy and famous places like the cave 'Hira' and cave 'Sor'. We also visited the different places where the pilgrims come for pilgrimage, like the 'Maidan-e-Arafat' and 'Jabl-e-ohad'. We also went to 'Al-jamarat' but we only saw the place from outside because there was construction going on there, but since the last time i visited there it was a really big place and the Saudi government is doing a lot to make things easy for the pilgrims. The 'Mina' is a site to see really there are soo many tents there for the pilgrims and each is provided with and A.C. (dats true... really Hats off to Saudi government). I have also heard that they are making subway train system for the Hajis (the pilgrims) but its not confirm i guess. And i guess i haven't told you about the Masjid-e-Haram, its a truly remarkable place its open 24/7 and the cleaning system there is also really awesome, people are coming and praying and still there is no dirt there. 'Mataif' (the place around Khana-e-Kabba) is made of marbles, in the afternoon you know its hot but marble is really cool, you can even do the 'Tawaf' during the afternoon. Many people told me to pray for them there and i did, but in that place really we don't no what to pray for, our duaas (prayers) are really finished but Allah's ability to fulfill all of them is truly endless.
Madina-Munawara:-
After 5 days we went to Madina Munawara it was 7-8 hours journey by road and it was a really exhausting journey. It makes to remember that how our Prophet (S.A.W.W)'s journey to Madina. They didn't had any resources, soo just imagine how difficult it would have been for them.......we reached Madina at night so we went to our hotel and slept and in the morning we went to the Masjid-e-Nabwi and prayed 'Fajar' (the morning prayer). Since the last time i visited this masjid, it has been expanded a lot (and when i saw a lot i really mean it ). Around the masjid the marbled floor is also provided with the big umbrellas, which opens up when the weather is hot. After the morning prayer we went to visit Prophet (S.A.W.W)'s roza mubarik (Prophet (S.A.W.W.)'s grave). It was really difficult to go to that place due to the crowd. But, Alhamdolillah we went there and in 'Riazul-Jannah' we prayed the nawafil. In Madina i caught a flu too, because i was not used to the weather there, it was really cold in the Masjid and really really warm and hot out side it . Unlike Masjid-e-Haram, Masjid-e-Nabawi is not open 24 hours it closes up after the night prayer, only the place 'Riaz-ul-Jannah' is opened till 12, but that place also closes after 12. The Masjid is again opened up at 2 or 3 a.m. In Madina we also went to different holy and famous place including the places of different 'Gazwat' and also the different Masajids like Masjid-e-Quba, Masjid-e-Qiblatain etc . It was a really calming experience in Madina.
Makkah Mukarama:-
We spent the last 5 days in Makkah again, but this time our hotel was a lil far from the Masjid. We welcomed the holy month of ramadan in Makkah and prayed the 'Trawee' there too (it was my first time to pray trawee after an imam). I was also really really fortunate to pray after Imam Abdur Rehman Assudais, his voice truly suit the Masjid and really remain a mark in our hearts. We opened two fasts in Masji-e-Haram.
The preparation of aftari in the masjid and the cleaning after it is a site to be seen coz they do it really fast. Over there we drank a lot of Aab-e-Zam Zam, infact instead of water we only drank Aab-e-Zam Zam. In aftari people distribute so many things that you'll not feel left out. Over there i thought to finishing the Quran-e-Kareem but due to my flu in Madina i didn't finish it :( , my mom finished it. In Ramadan the Saudi army is also in the Masjid-e-Haram, to control the crowd there coz in Ramadan there are many people over there even masjid is full packed with people and during the prayers its full from the top floor to the outside of the masjid.
All of this is only a brief of my trip. I have left out many things and some other which are really had to explain i.e. my spiritual experience...................its my sincere pray for every muslim they that my Allah invite them to Saudia, at least once before they die aameen........
