hehehehe i know it was a mistake to join 4 societies in college and along with that being a dissector too!! i guess i got my work cut out ;) Thank God we have to renew our membership next year otherwise i would have been screwed :$ .... But i can't help it i like writing literature as hobby, I have a passion for research, and so do i want to do something globally (through ifmsa) and activities well i joined that coz then me and my friends could to go several arts n science festivals ;] ....Well its kind frustrated sometimes too but i made a decision so will i continue it!!

GA STAGE!!!!

1st CLaSS of GroSS ANAtoMy WAs FReAKsdknjfiadjfING HELL!!

    Well the batch in i was in had upper limb and the teacher was Sir __________ .... Well don't know the word sir kinda doesn't suit him. I know i know, i respect him because he is older and all but seriously the way he taught was simply GROwsS!! The class was hell for me... 

So he started off naturally with the bones, muscles and DERMATONES (don't know why on earth does he like it soo very much??) and then he started teaching us the anatomy of chest region... and then to female one. And Gawd it was embarrassing!! He wasn't teaching exactly he was kinda making the guys enjoy and enjoying himself too. That not how a teacher should be (in my opinion specifically) while teaching us these topics, he shouldn't have let the boys laugh over such sensitive topics!! We were feeling humiliated and sexually harassed. I just wanted to teleport  from that class away and the worse part was we couldn't say a thing to the teacher coz don't know (Kuda na kuasta) if we get a supply finding out the cause won't be a mystery to us. So in short, we were tightly bound to do anything, except being embarrassed like HELL!!!

AAAHHH!! AtLasT ThE PhYsio ASsiGnmEnt FiNISHED

The saleem gave us an assignment of cell and it's organelles (in detail) before the muharrum holidays... And it had been stretched out for me or I have been tooo lazy to complete it =P anyway sir told us to draw the diagram of a typical cell and write about it and it's organelles in detail ... But don't know why people are drawing the diagram of each and every organelle =\ reaching out for marks eehh!!??!! Anyway I couldn't care less about it!! I would rather sleep in that time ;) (ha I know I know lazy lil me) but still in the end that's what the teacher asked for..., anyway Alhamdolilah at least it's finished :)))

Did DiSsEcTioN of A HuMan DeAd BoDy ... FeLt LiKe DeXtER

After the holidays the next day we started dissection. Our group teacher being Miss Tahira and the other teacher being Sir Ikram (who by the way is an awesome teacher MashaAllah )The teacher asked that the most enthusiastic person should do the dissection for the first time. Well which i was Not. So the first dissector was nyla but still she couldn't do it alone because the body was quite old and the skin was really tough. And we had to borrow instruments and gloves from the boys... our dissector started incision but still the teacher guided her and when the peeling off of the skin started which was quite tough, the teacher asked for other dissectors to come out and help her. I wanted to but no instrument. Then i borrow it and without gloves started peeling off skin. The skin was so tough and body was really skinny that it was difficult to hold it with the forceps. So i got hold of a glove pulled on the skin and started removing the skin along with the superficial fascia..... God i felt like a butcher- dexter at that time.. Feelings were numb. And only one task at hand is to dissect for the sake of learning and treating others.

2nd WeEk in MediCal CoEllge...

     Well after rush holiday sunday...and yes it flew away like air and i sooo didn't look forward to going to college next week.. ={ (i guess i got too used to relaxed life style at home) anyway i HAD to go to college and this week wasn't exciting at all too... no fooling just a lil college and some in the bus (which was epic ;)) study, study, study, and nothing else too boring for my taste. Then the groups were make and we got to know our practical and dissection periods and area... and we did some more study....aaaahhh i m getting tired but the thought to muharrum holidays excited me ;] .... and i added saturday in my holidays too ;}

StRikE SaTurDays...

  Well the week passes by early and saturday came didn't know that there was some teacher's strike on saturday. Otherwise, i would have been absent. Only attendance of the first two periods i.e. the practical period was taken then we were free ... like really free no classes AT ALL... now what to do?? we couldn't go home because the buses would start at 2 p.m. which was exactly 4hrs later soo at first we weren't decided where to go then some of my friends and i decided to go to our high school which was also in the same university campus ...We all walked over there and finally reached it. And we find that everyone of our class fellow jinnahanians also  came. The gate kaka at first didn't let us in then we decided to get the security money out as an excuse for getting into the school and then after getting the money.... we met our teacher... loved to meet them especially miss Sania and miss Gul Naz. Then on our way back we decided to crash at our friend sabawash's place and surprised her =] excited to meet her too ... and then i guess it was enough of loitering the university so we went back to college and on our way back to college i remembered that i forgot my bag at wish's house so i called her and asked her to give to my class fellows to bring it back... and then they gave me my bag (aah i just lobe my bag) then that tiring but exciting day ended on a contended note...
  The whole first week ended like that in short, the first week was hectic, tiring and kinda exciting too.... 

2nd Day In NEw CollegE

 Well the second day was not as exciting as the first day... v were still running away from the seniors. The only thing i noticed during the different lectures was that every teacher was bragging that how important their subject is in medical studies they were kinda trying to prove that their subject's nose is bigger than the others (^_-) anyway in short is was BORING!! BUT STILL TIRING ... went to sleep straight after coming to home (-_-)

1St Day In kMc!!!

  Nervously i put on my uniform thinking about the dreadful day a head....Getting the prayers of elders i went to this foreign world of doctors....Don't know where to go i just walked up the front hall. Looking around here and there... trying to find familiar faces, but alas! none. Lava bubbling inside me and blame my siblings for not telling me where to go!! :@ and no friends replying my messages at all ... i was on the verge of a break down, but saw a teacher and asked .... Thank God i know the way where to go.... the Physiology lecture theater for first year where i found my friends...There was a small introduction and then Mam Nargis Parveen started teaching us cardio-vascular system.... i learnt only one thing in that class i.e. to sleep with my eyes open (-_-) .... then i met my friends and :))) and my happy mood was ON next class was anatomy (which reminds me to do another post about that theater room) and after that class we wanted to go to the canteen or something... but the seniors were EVERYWHERE!! Just waiting for they fresh meat.... i dogged them 3 times while my friends were the victims =D and for the fourth time we had to make a train ... which was fun ;) then v roomed about and went to KCD to meet my friend. Then it was the dissection lab time.

 

The room was gloomy and dark and the whole class of 300 people were in there =() and we saw the big cupboards which contained the dead bodies and then the kaka over there showed it to us and v SCREAMED!! :O and the day finished with a tiring note wid me and my cozy bed at home well, the day wasn't as bad as i was expecting thanks to my friends :))

THe DaY BeFoRe EnTeriNg Da MediCaL CoLLeGe

 
 Well, after the 4 months looong holidays... i was really lets say attached to my home and relaxation ;) and the thought of going to college kinda nauseated me ={ but everyone was soo excited dunno why on earth were they excited. People we r over wid our holidays... which part of this fact you don't understand...

  ARgH the uniform was a whole another story!! white white white!!! overall white, dupatta white, scarf white, trouser white... and worst of all they were all of different shades of white ={ .... and i felt like a big piece of dark chocolate wrapped inside a white chocolate (well you have to commend my creativity ;) of the description) anyway coming back to the uniform ... it wassss simply horrendous!!... And the thought of become a fool on the first day increased my insecurity! and my family was no help, especially my lil bro... kept on making me scared of the ghastly next day... i could even sleep a lot and my habit to sleeping late during the holidays didn't help at all.... well i just wish the next day would just end already =[
