    After like an eternity the nust result for the medical students were announced and this year it was not like the previous years like a merit list but people were shortlisted and only there names were shown. Well what i had heard there were 1650 people shortlisted. At first i thought it will be an interview but then they told us that it will be ANOTHER TEST.... and Man i was freaked out. It was like a month that i haven't seen the face of those God forsaken books and i had to bring it back from the tiniest corners of my store room and then revise them... Forget it!! i didn't study... It will be quite normal that i didn't do good on the test. But imagine people from punjab who just appeared in the mcat on 13 sep, they would have remembered all the course... so those are bound to do good.

    Anyway the test was yesterday. I took off for Islamabad in the morning and reached more than before time. The entry was both from gate no. 1 and 10 and Man Nust is rreeeeealllly Biiiig and cool.

   Anyway it was a 100 question test for 1 and a half hour rather than 200 questions for 3 hours. The paper was difficult in english and chemistry and few in the physics and biology.... (of course because i didn't study =P ). And thus i m really doubtful about my selection coz very few people will be selected and the people over there were rrreeeeeeally intelligent..... but still i m keeping my fingers crossed =]

WHY?? OH WHY?? TELL WHY NOT NUST ARE PUBLISHING THE ENTRY TEST RESULT!!

 Well, ppl its like this we gave the nust entry test for medical on 16 july 2011 .... and we still haven't recieved the result.... how can they be soo late even the etea test was efficient in giving the result the next day... Okay, okay i know nust test was around the whole country but seriously its like THE WHOLE MONTH HAS PASSED ...
   And ya i remembered anyone who appeared in that test and  who didn't uploaded their FSc. marks should go to their website and fill your form.... the link is www.nust.edu.pk.... Good Luck with the result

THE ENTRY TEST RESULT..... Oh It Was The NEXT Day... :O

    Well, Etea is truly not slow in announcing the result. The result was out the next afternoon. (oohh why do they have to be sooo efficient). Any way since the test was quite difficult therefore the top was at less marks too. Zeeshan topped it with 672 or 673 marks. And the next two are also male. (ARGH!! why the guys have to be soo smart :@ ). Anyway in girls Jawaria topped. She's from Edward College. OK, there are a total of 17 people in 600s, 270 people in 500s, and the rest i don't know coz there is my limit coz mine are 499 :)....ok kidding..Detailed Scientific Analysis of Performance of Students Based on the Marks Obtained in Medical Entrance Test 2011

 I m soo happy over my marks. They are very good coz after seeing soo many people have marks less than me and so many who have failed, i can't be thankful enough. Allhamdolilah :)

THE ENTRY TEST KMU....

  At last the day of the entry test came...on 24th july. We have been waiting for it since ... i don't know when ... coz i was certainly not waiting for it :P. Well, anyway it was held behind the Army Stadium in Peshawar. Man ... there was A BIG crowd ... We had to go there by 6:30 even if the test starts at 9 .... and to sit in that stupid chair for 2 hours... u kiddn' me right?? and noo it was true. Thank God at the entrance line i met my friend. At least i had somebody for support. But she left too coz she had her roll no. in 10 thousands and mine was in 5 thousand. And and did i mention there were 18 THOUSAND PPL.

 At first i got really scared and thought that ALL of these ppl are going to become doctors and what will happen to me but my friend romi cheered me up. (i m really thankful to her) and also hoor was also near me.... so i had all the support i needed.....

   Then came the dreadful 3 hours on which i flew away in thin air.... And the paper ... i didn't thought sooo much will come from inorganic and inorganic means things which had to be crammed .... and i was certainly not expecting such. I felt the time was less according to me and did i mention that BOYS CHEAT A LOT.

 And kept disturbing others. There was my girl on my side she asked me once, twice, thrice ... argh!! i even forgot the count and at last i had to shut her up by saying that my time was wasting alot.... and at last the examiner took the answer sheet away from me ... on which my future depended.....
  Which left me with a storm  of girls to overcome in order to go out . . . . .and the weather was noo help. After overcoming that if felt like did a hajj ..... seriously i mean it it was really difficult.
  After this i was really happy with the nust test arrangements.
   ANYWAY THANK GOD IT ALL ENDED .... BUT NOT COZ THE RESULT WAS THE NEXT DAY ..... BUT THIS TIME IS SOO WISHED THAT THE RESULT COULD COME LATE COZ MINE  WOULD BE NOT GOOD

^^^ ANY WAY I HAD TO FACE IT HEAD-ON NO MATTER WHAT^^^

  Well,..... to prepare for the entry test ... we should (i guess we should have) 

• First of all study our own course books thoroughly and learn what has to be learned (coz believe me sometimes cramming also helps)
• Secondly look for the pass papers.
• Thirdly consider other books like (for kpk medical entry test) Pretest, Etea, Islamia, MM, Mcat .......etc...
• And last but certainly not the least it positive thinking books ;) .... in case your feeling down due to the pressure....

THe EnTry TEsT PreP CLassz Academy ... dalimma!!!

     Immediately after the practicals we well at least me had to apply for the entry test couching classes .... soo then there was a choice to make with a variety of classes ... i.e. Islamia, MM, Nice and many many more...... but in my opinion, till the last day of the academy i couldn't study on my own. I was waaayyy too tired ... oh come on it was june and with all the heat and IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR HOLIDAYZZ. Anyway it didn't effect me i still used the net (although i got a lot of scoldings) 
   And then there was the sunday tests.... it costs 200+ but i like that they explained the questions but it was too much for me. Its like getting up in the morning at around 7 or 8 and come back around 4 .... i attended it once but i couldn't handle another. Anyway, if you studied thoroughly you don't need the academy or the sunday tests.....
                                                  BUT I M NOT OF THAT KIND :P

ThE FsC PrActiCaL ExAms.....

Well about practicals ... first was Physics. We had an internal... my practical was good i was expecting full marks but NOOO not even internal can give us full marks :@

Next was Chemisty i made a mistake in viva so i didn't whin over it much.

And last was Biology and that was one of the WORST DAY OF MY LIFE.... i studied my level best for it ...and IF THE EXAMINER ASKED FROM MY COURSE THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT.... BUT NOO ... I MEAN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO ASK FROM THE COURSE THEN YOU SHOULD TELL US THAT WE SHOULD STUDY THE WHOLE ENCYCLOPEDIA.... well it took me the whole day to calm myself because of the worst viva in my entire life ...... and to place the cheery on top after the viva i couldn't complete my dissection and the stupid frog's cutaneous artery got cut and but any way i washed it away =] sneeky huh??.... anyway 

THANK GOD ITS FINISHED...

1St ThE FsC ExAms...

First of all to start with ... was the Board of intermediate and secondary education paper.... 

Well, to start off was Pakstudies.... we had a total of 11 chapters but the paper was made in such a way that if we only did the first 3 to 4 chapters thoroughly we would pass with good marks.

Next was the arts English and Urdu .... well i didn't have any grudge against it but i hate to write essays.... it pisses me off coz we have to write A LOT seriously with 13 marks at steak we had to write A LOT. But anyway there was distraction during the preparation of these i.e. Before the English paper ... it was THE ROYAL COUPLE'S wedding (remind me to post about it too) and Before Urdu paper .... Osama Bin Laden died (Inallilah-e-wainaeliha-e-rageoon) so i had a good excuse to watch the t.v. =]

Next would be the sciences... so lets tackle it one by one... first off with physics well we kind of have a strategy  =D i.e all the short questions come from the exercise ... so if we do that 40 marks will be easily gained and we are left with the long question .... if we just do the important ones then we are on our way to good marks

Next chemistry.... which i truly hated this year.... last year we didn't study time, but this year we wanted to but  we couldn't remember it .. (i soo much hate inorganic) anyway my paper was not so good (my marks told me that)

Last paper was zoology  AND MAN IT WAS LENGTHY well i flunked in the long question...

ANYWAY THANK GOD IT WAS OVER..... 

GOTTA GO...

My final papers are coming up so i have to go and study. I'll be leaving my blog 4 a lil while so that i could concentrate on my studies .... so dat i can make my future lane straight. Do wish me good luck for my studies and my papers and may Allah help me in this difficult task (Ameen)

Will you believe now a day cockroaches are on sale in our zoology lab, just because we didn't do the dissection during the college session year....... I think who ever didn't do it better do it tomorrow or else the rate will increase from rs.20 to rs.50 ....... or may be on the examination day it will reach up to rs.100 :P ...... well you also have another choice that you should collect roaches from your own home and give them a little anesthesia and start dissecting them ,....... coz the college is completely in indulge in the plan of getting us bankrupt .... i guess they didn't got enough money from our fines that they are starting to use SUCH tactics ...
